Hello Beloved,
For years, many spiritually minded people have been waiting for the New Earth.
Waiting for humanity to wake up.
Waiting for a great shift in consciousness.
Waiting for a new generation of leaders to emerge.
Waiting for the world to change.
Then one day I realized something:
They're already here.
Not all of them.
Not everywhere.
But enough of them to give me tremendous hope.
Recently, I reflected on several young people making a difference in their own unique ways. They are not waiting for permission. They are not waiting for someone else to solve humanity's problems. They see something that needs to change, and they step forward.
Some challenge outdated systems.
Some inspire others through service.
Some encourage people to think differently.
Some simply refuse to accept that fear, division, and powerlessness are normal.
And every time I see one of them step into their purpose, I feel hopeful.
Not because they are perfect.
Not because they have all the answers.
But because they are evidence that consciousness is evolving.
Yet before we turn this into a story about age, let's be honest.
I've met 25-year-old fossils and 85-year-old revolutionaries.
The real shift isn't chronological.
It's psychological.
The "old farts" slowing humanity's evolution aren't necessarily old people.
They're old ideas.
Old fears.
Old identities.
Old tribal thinking.
Old assumptions.
Old separation consciousness.
Thankfully, some of those are croaking every day. šš
The New Earth doesn't arrive when one generation replaces another.
It arrives every time fear is replaced with love.
Every time judgment is replaced with understanding.
Every time someone chooses service over self-interest.
Every time someone refuses to hand their power over to the past.
The New Earth doesn't belong to the young.
It belongs to the willing.
And here's the part that touched me most as I reflected on these younger generations.
They are able to launch because others came before them.
Every generation builds a platform for the next.
The older generation carries wisdom.
The younger generation carries momentum.
The older generation clears the runway.
The younger generation launches.
The older generation asks, "What have we learned?"
The younger generation asks, "What are we willing to change?"
Humanity needs both.
Without the elders, there is no foundation.
Without the young, there is no expansion.
Without the elders, we repeat old mistakes.
Without the young, we cling to old solutions.
The miracle happens when the two work together.
This is why I am filled with hope.
Not because one generation will save another.
But because awakening is continuing.
The torch is being passed.
The Light is being extended.
And every generation has a role to play.
For years, I thought spirituality was about finding God.
Now I see it differently.
Spirituality is learning to recognize where God has been all along.
God isn't only in meditation.
God is in forgiveness.
God is in difficult conversations.
God is in serving tables.
God is in raising children.
God is in rocking grandbabies to sleep.
God is in grief.
God is in laughter.
God is in deciding whether to buy the organic blueberries even though they're $8.99.
God is in figuring out Medicare.
Perhaps awakening is not learning how to leave this 3D life.
Perhaps awakening is finally learning how to find God in all of it.
For years, I thought awakening was about finding God.
Then one day I realized God was never lost.
I was.
I kept searching for Him in future breakthroughs, spiritual achievements, mystical experiences, and enlightened states.
All the while, He was hiding in plain sight.
In forgiveness.
In service.
In grandchildren.
In laughter.
In grief.
In ordinary Tuesdays.
In grocery stores.
At the voting booth.
In Medicare enrollment forms.
The tragedy was never that God was absent.
The tragedy was how long I postponed noticing He was already here.
Jesus says in A Course in Miracles:
"Delay does not matter in eternity, but it is tragic in time."
The tragedy is not that God has abandoned us.
The tragedy is how long we postpone joy.
How long we postpone peace.
How long we postpone recognizing the Love that has been available all along.
So perhaps it is time to stop waiting.
Stop waiting for humanity.
Stop waiting for awakening.
Stop waiting for the New Earth.
The New Earth is not a place.
The New Earth is consciousness.
And every act of forgiveness.
Every act of kindness.Hello,
Every act of courage.
Every act of service.
Every act of love.
Is the New Earth arriving through us.
