Practical Wisdom: Living 5D in a 3D World
Integrating higher consciousness into everyday life—one miracle at a time
Hi Beloved,
Have you ever paused long enough to let these words echo through your being?
“My mind is part of God’s. I am very holy.” (ACIM, Lesson 35)
This truth is so simple, and yet for most of us it feels almost impossible to believe. We’ve been trained from childhood to see ourselves as small, guilty, unworthy, or separate. But A Course in Miracles is a mind-training curriculum that gently unravels those lies. It reminds us that holiness is not something we earn—it is what we are.
Training the Mind, Opening the Heart
The Course tells us:
“You are still as God created you. Holiness created you holy.” (ACIM, Lesson 60)
No matter what mistakes we believe we’ve made, no matter how dark our past may appear, none of it has touched the truth of our Being. Our holiness is not fragile. It is not dependent on behavior, achievements, or appearances. It is the eternal spark of God shining within us.
The only “work” we’re asked to do is to notice the thoughts that veil this truth and bring them to the Light. When we recognize a judgment, a grievance, or a self-condemning belief, we can pause and remember: “I could see peace instead of this.” (Lesson 34)
Beyond the Ego’s Programming
The ego wants us to believe holiness is reserved for saints, prophets, or spiritual heroes. But Jesus makes it clear:
“The Son of God is guiltless, and in his innocence is his salvation. Without guilt, he is holy.” (T-13.I.9)
Holiness is not rare—it is universal. It is the shared essence of every brother and sister we meet. Seeing holiness in others helps us strengthen our awareness of holiness within ourselves.
Walking as the Christ
When Jesus walked the earth, he did not withhold love from anyone—not the thief, the prostitute, or the leper. His vision was not clouded by judgment. He saw only the Christ in all. That same vision is available to us.
The Course reminds us:
“The Christ in you is very still. He looks on what He loves, and knows it as Himself.” (T-24.V.1)
To walk as Christ is to look upon the world and see beyond appearances, to witness either love or a call for love. Nothing else is real.
Practice for the Week
This week, I invite you to experiment with Lesson 35 in a very practical way:

Pause three times a day and silently repeat: “My mind is part of God’s. I am very holy.”

When a self-critical thought arises, respond gently: “That is not the truth of me. I am still as God created me.”
-
When judgment of another arises, whisper: “You are holy, for you are part of God.”
Holiness becomes real to us not as an idea, but as a lived experience—when we practice extending it in thought, word, and deed.

Beloved, your holiness is not a distant goal. It is your natural inheritance, waiting patiently for your acceptance. Every time you choose to see with God’s eyes, you reclaim a piece of Heaven and bring it into the world.

We are holy. We are whole. We are the Light of the world.
