Living Deeply While Emerging

Practical Wisdom: Living 5D in a 3D World
Integrating higher consciousness into everyday life—one miracle at a time!
Hi, Beloved!
There is a way to live on this earth that is both vast and simple at the same time.
A way to know the big picture—to recognize that you are the big picture—and still delight in the ordinary moments that appear on the surface of life. To plan traveling ahead of a storm with a friend. To savor a cup of tea. To enjoy a walk by the ocean without turning it into a spiritual event.
Not either/or.
Both.
At once.
As I reflect on the last three years of my life, and especially the last few months, I see how completely this way of living has been teaching me—without fanfare, without drama, without any need to announce itself.
Much of this season has been about tending to the body. Dental healing. Respiratory healing. Doctor visits. Medications. Listening carefully. Respecting limits. Responding to guidance that didn’t come wrapped in mystical language, but in very practical instructions: rest, treat the infection, change elevation, go where your body can breathe.
Nothing glamorous.
Nothing to post about.
Nothing to prove.
And yet… everything.
A Course in Miracles reminds us, “The body is merely part of your experience in the physical world.” Not something to deny. Not something to worship. Simply something to care for while remembering who we truly are.
In many ways, this entire period has been an initiation into simplicity.
No “look at me.”
No performing spirituality.
No bypassing discomfort.
Just life, asking to be met honestly and gently.
When guidance came to travel to sea level, it required something very human: a three-day road trip across multiple states during one of the season's largest storms. Planning. Packing. Fatigue. Trusting the timing. Trusting the body. Trusting that what was unfolding didn’t need to be fully understood in order to be followed.
Faith, as I’ve come to know it, is not belief in a better future. It is certainty in the present unfolding.
“I am never upset for the reason I think,” ACIM teaches us—not to dismiss our experience, but to invite a deeper interpretation of it. Illness was not punishment. It was not failure. It was not interruption.
It was instruction.
It was a quiet invitation to slow down, to listen more carefully, to stop asking “What should I do with my life?” and instead respond to “What is life asking of me now?”
And what life asked was very simple:
Breathe.
Receive help.
Move gently.
Follow one step at a time.
Arriving in Florida felt less like an achievement and more like an exhale. Almost immediately, my body responded. Breathing became easier. Energy softened back into flow. Sitting outside, feeling the warmth on my skin, I had a moment that felt like I was being kissed by the sun itself—a wordless reassurance that nothing had gone wrong.
This was not an escape.
It was alignment.
The Course tells us, “You do not need to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” For me, one of those barriers was subtle: the idea that life should look more “spiritual” than it actually does.
But life has been teaching me something else entirely.
Living deeply does not mean living dramatically.
Living deeply means seeing clearly.
It means knowing who you are, and allowing that knowing to inform the smallest choices—how you rest, where you go, when you stop, how you care for the body that carries you through this dream.
I feel this chapter closing now.
Not with answers.
But with peace.
And I also feel something stirring.
Like a butterfly stretching inside a cocoon—this month in Florida feels like a sacred pause where nothing needs to be decided yet. I don’t know what is emerging. I don’t need to. I can feel the movement, the readiness, the quiet joy of something new learning how to breathe.
“Into His Presence would I enter now,” says the Course. And perhaps this is what it really looks like—not withdrawal from life, but full participation in it, guided by trust rather than control.
Lainaism
“Living deeply doesn’t mean living dramatically.
It means seeing clearly, breathing fully,
and trusting the next simple step.”
This is an unknown journey.
Not one to figure out.
But one to live—simply, faithfully, and with an open heart.
With love and excitement for what is emerging,
