Who's Really Governing Your Mind?
What if the protests in the world are just mirrors of your own uprising within?

Hi Beloved,
Welcome to this week’s Practical Wisdom, where we explore the sacred symbols of everyday life and remember that the path home to peace begins within.
Theme of the Week: Dethroning the Inner Governor
Have you noticed how the world’s stage has been full of protests lately? Rage on the streets, shouting for change, demanding justice, resisting the status quo. But what if all of that—every banner, chant, and barricade—is just a mirror?
I invite you to witness the protests in California and around the world, not as separate from you, but as an outward projection of an inward uprising.
What if the one being protested is our ego, our self-appointed inner governor?
Love never elected the ego. It installed itself through fear, scarcity, and the illusion of separation. It promised safety, control, and approval, but instead built mental cities full of judgment, noise, and disconnection.
A Course in Miracles reminds us:
“Projection makes perception. The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that.” — ACIM, T-21. In. 1:1
And what we gave as we remembered our choice was the ego's insane and fractured view.
In my own journey, I saw how my inner 'Los Angeles' was congested with old trauma, media-like narratives, blame, and emotional smog. My mind had become a metropolis governed by fear. But slowly, steadily, I made a conscious choice to override that governor. A strong, disruptive energy stepped forward in me — like a Trump figure — not to perpetuate division, but to expose and unseat the false authority within.
That conscious decision took time. Healing did not sweep the streets overnight. But as I stayed the course, I saw my inner city transform. Clarity returned. Peace was restored. Flowers bloomed where barricades once stood. I felt the high frequency of Los Angeles/The Angels as my new reality.
“It is still up to you to choose to join with truth or with illusion. But remember that to choose one is to let the other go.” — ACIM, T-22.II.6:4–5
This is not about politics. This is about perception.
This is not about blame. This is about brave accountability.
This is not about saving the world. It is about healing your mind about the world.
Practice for the Week
Next time you witness upheaval or conflict in the world, pause and ask:
🌀 Where in me is the ego still ruling?
🌀 What part of me is marching for change… and what part resists it?
🌀 Am I ready to recall Love as the true Governor of my mind?
Inside the Awareness Academy
If this lens of world events as personal curriculum speaks to you, I invite you to explore it with us more deeply inside the Awareness Academy.
In our community, we practice the holy art of shifting perception. Together. We learn how to heal our projections, not by fixing the world, but by restoring the Truth in our minds.
Come be part of this movement, not of resistance, but of remembrance.
Closing Transmission
What you perceive 'out there' is always a clue pointing inward.
When you forgive the world, you free the mind that made it.
Lainaism of the Week:
“Love was always the leader. You just forgot who cast the vote.”
With love and liberation,
