The Light Is On. Are You Ready to See?
Be informed. Be prepared. But do not be afraid.

Hello, Beloveds!
For some time now, I have been addressing developments in our world during our live Awareness Academy classes. However, since fewer than 7% of our community members attend these gatherings, I want to share something important with everyone.
First, let me assure you that this is not a message of fear. It is a message of awareness, preparation, and, above all, hope.
I have often said that I believe we are living through one of the most extraordinary periods in human history. I also believe we may be witnessing what many call the darkest hour before the dawn.
And I wouldn't want to miss this fascinating dream for anything! 😂
When the Light Comes On
In a recent channeled message, Kryon offered a beautiful analogy.
Imagine entering a room that has been dark for a very long time. You cannot see what is inside. You may sense that something is there, but the darkness prevents you from recognizing it.
Then someone turns on the light.
Suddenly, you can see everything that was there all along.
The light did not create what was hidden. It simply made it visible.
I believe this is a powerful metaphor for what humanity is experiencing.
Institutions, systems, beliefs, and behaviors that have operated in the shadows are increasingly being questioned and examined. What was once accepted without question is being brought into awareness.
And as more light enters the room, some of what we discover may be uncomfortable.
But remember: The darkness is not becoming more powerful. We are becoming more capable of seeing what has been hidden.
What Is Happening in Our World?
I want to share several recent reports that deserve our attention—not because they predict catastrophe, but because they remind us of the value of being prepared.
1. The Pentagon's FORTRESS Initiative
Recent reporting by Fox News Digital, discussed by Glenn Beck and journalist Ben Swann, describes a Pentagon initiative known as FORTRESS.
According to these reports, the military is pursuing plans to make major U.S. installations capable of operating independently for at least 90 days during severe disruptions.
The proposals include independent power systems, microgrids, energy storage, emergency supplies, and measures to strengthen military supply chains.
The concern is that future conflicts or emergencies could disrupt electricity, communications, transportation, and other infrastructure on which we depend.
Does this mean war is coming? No.
It means military planners are considering scenarios that could threaten essential infrastructure and are taking steps to strengthen their ability to respond.
2. Calls for Civilian Preparedness
Commentators, including Dan Bongino, former Deputy Director of the FBI, the agency's second-highest-ranking official, under FBI Director Kash Patel, have encouraged families to maintain emergency supplies such as food, water, batteries, and essential medications.
Glenn Beck has similarly suggested that households consider how they would manage if electricity or other essential services were temporarily unavailable.
Meanwhile, British authorities have encouraged households to keep several days of emergency supplies available for disruptions caused by severe weather or other emergencies.
None of these recommendations is proof of an impending crisis.
In fact, sensible emergency preparedness has been recommended for decades.
But they offer an excellent reminder that being prepared is an act of responsibility, not an admission of fear.
What Can We Do?
There is no need to rush out and empty grocery shelves or spend money you don't have.
Simply consider whether you and your loved ones could comfortably manage a temporary interruption of essential services.
A few practical steps include:
-
Maintaining a reasonable supply of drinking water and nonperishable food.
-
Keeping necessary medications and basic first-aid supplies available.
-
Having flashlights, batteries, charging options, and a battery-powered radio.
-
Keeping a little cash available in case electronic payment systems are temporarily unavailable.
-
Making a simple communication plan with loved ones.
-
Getting to know your neighbors and identifying ways to help one another.
Start with a few days of supplies and build gradually, according to your circumstances.
Preparation is not about expecting the worst. It is about being free to respond wisely to whatever presents itself.
And now, let us look at this through the lens of A Course in Miracles.
The World Is Our Classroom, Not Our Prison
A Course in Miracles teaches us that the world we perceive reflects the mind that perceives it.
The ego made a world of separation, competition, scarcity, guilt, and fear. And for generations, humanity has learned to regard these conditions as normal.
But what happens when we begin to recognize that the ego's thought system is not the only way to experience life?
What happens when we stop defending the very beliefs that keep us afraid?
We begin to wake up.
I believe that what we are witnessing is an extraordinary opportunity for humanity to make a different choice.
Not a choice between political parties, governments, or competing ideologies.
A choice between fear and Love.
Between continuing to see ourselves as powerless victims of the world and recognizing the mind's power to choose how we experience it.
Between remaining asleep in the ego's interpretation of events and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us another way of seeing.
And this is where our preparation through ACIM becomes so valuable.
We Are Here to Be the Light
Jesus reminds us in Lesson 61:
"I am the light of the world."
Notice that he does not say we must wait for the world to become peaceful before we can experience peace.
Nor does he ask us to deny what appears to be happening around us.
He teaches us to remember what we are.
If difficult circumstances arise, we can respond practically without surrendering our peace.
If institutions are exposed as corrupt, we can recognize wrongdoing without allowing hatred to become our teacher.
If others become frightened, we can offer calm, compassion, and clarity rather than adding to their fear.
And if familiar systems change, we can remain open to possibilities we may never have considered before.
We do not become beacons of light by fighting the darkness. We become beacons of light by refusing to forget what we are.
The Dawn Is Not Something We Have to Wait For
I have shared with many of you that I believe we are moving toward a happier dream—a world in which more people recognize the value of cooperation, community, sovereignty, compassion, and genuine freedom.
That is my understanding of the direction in which humanity has the opportunity to move.
I cannot tell you exactly what the coming months or years will bring. Nor do I need to.
My peace does not depend on predicting the future.
And neither does yours.
The Course is preparing us for something far more valuable than knowing what happens next.
It is teaching us to remember Who We Are, regardless of what happens next.
So please, Beloveds, stay informed without becoming consumed by the news. Make sensible preparations without expecting disaster. Question what you hear without automatically believing the most frightening explanation.
Help your neighbors. Love your families. Practice forgiveness. And remember to laugh!
After all, we are learning to awaken from a dream—not audition for the leading role in its next disaster movie! 😂
I love being alive during this extraordinary time. I love witnessing the possibilities emerging as more people begin questioning the old ways of thinking and living.
And I love knowing that we have spent years preparing our minds to respond from Love rather than fear.
Let the light reveal what it reveals.
We do not have to be afraid of what becomes visible.
We can simply remember that our function is to bring light to whatever we encounter.
With Love, gratitude, and great anticipation for the Happy Dream,

Founder, The Awareness Academy

A Note About Official Information
For those who prefer information directly from government sources, both the United Kingdom and the United States maintain official emergency-preparedness guidance.
The UK recently launched its Be Ready campaign, while the U.S. Army and FEMA have long encouraged households to maintain essential supplies and emergency plans.
The Pentagon's reported FORTRESS initiative has received media coverage, including statements attributed to defense officials. However, I have not independently located a publicly available Pentagon document confirming every detail of the reported 90-day operational plan.
These preparedness recommendations are not predictions of catastrophe. They are practical ways to reduce vulnerability during unexpected disruptions.
I encourage everyone to review the information, exercise discernment, and make reasonable preparations according to their own circumstances.
We can prepare our homes without preparing our minds for fear.
Be informed. Be prepared. But do not be afraid. Unless, of course, you want to be! 😉
